Research Project

I conduct research in the Bronx with community-based NGOs that reconnect inner-city youth with the enviornment by involving them in the restoration of urban ecosystems. I will use a mixed methods approach to determine the impact of these environmental programs on sense of place in youth and on urban social-ecological systems.
